Update

Well it's been a long while since I last wrote - a whole summer has been and gone - and now it's getting colder, so the jumpers are out! So, as I sit here on Hallowe'en night, I wanted to give a little update on what I've been doing and what's to come.

First, this was the scenery a couple of weeks ago...

This beautiful land is Sri Lanka (Ella, to be exact), where I went for a couple of weeks and explored even more new places. So, I'll definitely be updating the blog with that trip soon. I'll be sure to flag some definite stops for anyone considering the trip but in the meantime, be sure to check out my previous posts (one, two, and three) for when I went to Sri Lanka three years ago and visited such places as Dambulla, Sigiriya, Kandy, Trincomalee, Galle and Koggala.

Also, I'll be trying to throw some recipes up here and there but if I don't make it in time, I'll be heading off to Atlanta soon where I'll be continuing my Atlanta Feasts food series! This was a really fun series to do because it's firstly centred around my favourite thing to do - EAT! - but it's in the great food city of Atlanta where I can explore even more places to check out and tell you about. With the number of years I have been eating in Atlanta and trying all sorts of new restaurants, I haven't even made a dent - but hey, more to keep trying.
